product description
This 1930 Ford Model A pays homage to the 1930s-era Chicago Fire Department. The throwback pickup recently underwent a show-quality restoration with the steel body refinished in fire engine red over black fenders. Gold stripes and gold leaf lettering on the panels and doors are joined by a gold Chief No.1 crest, decorative accents, and fleur-de-lis. A front chrome bumper and stone guard, Moto Meter Flying Quail radiator ornament, headlight eyebrows and rear bumper join dual tail lights and mirrors for a well-appointed factory Ford package. The engine and drivetrain were re-machined to original 1930 Ford specifications with the 200.5 cubic inch L-head 4-cylinder engine rated for a dependable 40 horsepower with a single 2-barrel carburetor. The engine is equipped with a Chicago winter-approved Auto Lite heater which draws heat from the exhaust manifold into the black leatherette topped and upholstered cab.
