Not Alone

In "Behind Closed Doors" Jenny told the story of her brutal childhood, beaten and sexually abused by her father and neglected by her mother from the age of five until the moment she ran away, aged 16, in search of a better life. But scarred by her horific experiences, Jenny had to suffer the nightmare of a violent relationship with her partner before eventually, she found the courage to fight for a better life for her and her daughter. Jenny has always known that there are hundreds of thousands of other survivors out there, whose stories need to believed in order for them to heal and so that other victims are encouraged to fight back.
