Peanuts Classic Comics 1959-1963

On October 2, 1950, three kids appeared on the funny pages of seven newspapers. Over the next 50 years, Charlie Brown, Patty, Shermy and one very lovable dog would be joined by a whole cast of characters and forever change the landscape of comic strips.

Peanuts is a character driven comic strip. Schulz filled his world with unique personalities and would mix and match them for maximum comedic affect. Understanding the characters, their personalities and how they relate to each other is the driving force behind much of Schulz’s writing and comedy.
